POLITICAL CARICATURE AS A KIND OF CREOLIZED TEXT IN THE CONTEXT OF THE CRISIS OF UKRAINIAN-RUSSIAN RELATIONS (ON THE MATERIAL OF THE GREEK PRESS)

Using scientific works in the field of creolized text theory, an attempt was made to analyze specific features political caricature Greek mass media discourse, as well identify role verbal and nonverbal components texts conditions hybrid warfare. The research department 162 caricatures national world leaders international events context crisis Ukrainian-Russian relations served material presented work. Illustrations were selected from media, including newspapers, magazines, social networks, thematic blogs websites. subject this work structural, lexical-semantic, graphic historical-cultural characteristics English. In order achieve goal, authors article solved following tasks: 1) define concept «creolized text» give synonymous definitions; 2) a genre / type political, artistic discourses; 3) describe relationship between structural caricature; 4) common stylistic devices examples. performed analysis showed that real information space is transmitted through prism metaphor, irony, antithesis, animation, personification, metonymy, synecdoche. highlights leading anthropomorphic zoomorphic images famous leaders, strategies tactics their formation terms cognitive metaphor. Common cartoons include tactic «hanging» labels, contemptuously ironic belittling any advantages target (strength, significance, quality, scale, etc.), exaggeration its disadvantages.
